About the Game

Lurking in the Shadows drops you into the heart of a dark, eerie forest with only one goal: survive and escape. But beware, you’re not alone. Monsters prowl the depths of the forest, waiting for their next victim. To escape, you must collect scattered pieces of paper hidden throughout the forest. Only then will the mysterious portal open, giving you one chance to flee before the creatures close in.

Gameplay

• Explore the forest: Navigate through dense foliage and shadows to find hidden pages.
• Watch out for monsters: They stalk you, adding tension and fear to every step you take.
• Collect papers: Use the E key to grab the papers when you’re on top of them.
• Find the portal: Once all the papers are collected, a portal will appear—reach it to escape the nightmare.
• Close: Use the Tab key to open the menu to quit or return to the game. This also pauses the game.
